Pride in Energy (UK)

We are a network for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBTQI+) members of the UK energy industry and their allies.

The industry’s Pride in Energy network is a diversity forum and network for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBTQ+) members of the energy industry and their allies. The Pride in Energy network was created in response to a need for an organisation to address LGBTQ+ issues in the energy industry.

Despite representing 619,000 jobs, five percent of GDP and over two percent of all jobs in the UK the energy industry had fallen behind other equivalent industries in key indices such as the Stonewall Workplace Equality Index.
